Cameroon’s Department of Disease Control (DLM) is a part of the country’s Ministry of Public Health. The work of the DLM focuses on disease surveillance and outbreak response, and coordinating the work of relevant public health programs in Cameroon.
Current projects coordinated by the DLM include widespread vaccination campaigns, as well as addressing HIV/AIDS, blindness, leprosy, malaria, TB, and neglected tropical diseases such as schistosomiasis and trypanosomiasis.
